What works

Starting and playing the game.

What does not

I couldn't get the installer to work.

Couldn't get it into fullscreen mode.

Workarounds

Program doesn't start without it's config file, that seems to be created during install.
When getting the error "Graphics Dll not found, run install" make sure there is a file "drive_c/windows/UbiSoft/ubi.ini" with the following content:

[Donald]
GLI_DllFile=GliDX6
GLI_Dll=DirectX6
GLI_Device=Direct3D HAL
GLI_Driver=display
InstallCount=1
Language=English

If fullscreen not works, enable virtual desktop in winecfg.

What was not tested

Playing for a longer time.

Hardware tested

Graphics:

  • GPU: AMD
  • Driver: open source

Additional Comments

For the copy protection to work you'll need an original disk, although a cd-emulator like cdemu might work, too.

Sidenote: First I tried to run the game with a glide wrapper, like I found on the internet on some forums, but this made things a lot worse, and I wouldn't advise to try that route.
