• your mileage may vary - I'm using an NV GeForce GTX 460 (768mb) with the most recent drivers. This game runs flawlessly on this machine in windows, but running under wine, it is very laggy)

Additional Comments

1. Brand new install of wine (v. 1.3.28) in a clean prefix. 2. Installed the latest version of winetricks, as the one that comes with the distro cannot install IE6. http://code.google.com/p/winetricks/wiki/Installing 3. Only installed d3dx9 and IE6 using winetricks - nothing else. If any other version of IE is installed, it wont work. 4. Gecko is installed with wine 1.3.28 in Mint, but if you don't have it, install it. 5. winecfg: set Champions Online.exe to run as winXP, and add the mmdevapi library, then set it to disabled. Initial startup takes a while, but everything runs, with sound. The only problem is, the game runs very slow compared to windows. Depending on your comp, the lag could easily make PvP impossible. If anyone knows a way to enhance performance, please post.
