Installing, running. The volume control can be moved but I was unable to test that it had an effect (Could not add audio to library).
What does not
When run the screen blacks-out, but comes back. A popup saying iTunes was not properly installed and cannot import or burn CDs comes up. When finished loading the Wine 'Program error' window pops up, I clicked close but iTunes didn't close, and carried on working. Trying to get to the iTunes store freezes iTunes and I had to kill it. Using the search function gave the same effect.
Adding files to library crashes iTunes.
Adding a wma format file doesn't work (iTunes fails to convert into acc)
Crashed while adding mp3 files. (Managed to add some though)
After importing mp3 files (via import folder) iTunes would always freeze when loaded and I have to kill it.
What was not tested
Docking with iPod/iPhone
Buying anything from iTunes store.
Anything to do with podcasts, TV shows, Radio.
'Home Shared' area
I had recently upgraded to wine 1.1.38 (Previously 1.1.36), in 1.1.36 it installed, but when run showed the first screen then got the 'program error' window. When I clicked close iTunes closed. I tried running iTunes with the updated wine but without reinstalling iTunes, it got the 'program error' window and iTunes closed when I clicked close. I reinstalled iTunes (By deleting it's files in the mocked C drive. Then running iTunesSetup.exe again).
