I made a fresh install of the latest version of Wine available for ArchLinux (1.5.22). I installed the version 1.2.0812 from the CD and patched it to version 1.2.0.813 (the patch crashed after patching the game, it apparently isn't a problem). And the game runs flawlessly so far. Important, DON'T FORGET to install the 32bit version of your video drivers under a 64bit system, Otherwise the game will be very slow and a little buggy.
