What works

Everything works! with my custom settings setup for Voobly and Age of Empires II: The Conquerors.

• Login and launching lobby
• Instant messaging, nudging, PMing, etc.
• Hosting and Joining Age of Empires II Conquerors games.

Here's how in 8 steps:
1. Install Age of Empires II as you normally would from CD, and install directplay using winetricks.
2. Then run SETUPREG.exe from here.
3. Install 1.0c patch from here.
4. Install 1.0e "superpatch" from here.
5. Install Voobly Client from Voobly.com.
6. Install a web browser into wine. Opera, FireFox, IE, etc. all work fine.
7. Install AoCuee.exe to patch the game for Anti-Cheat here.
8. Go to Voobly.com, login, and launch a lobby. It should work flawlessly.

Nothing.
