video and audio out of sync

Conversion worked but audio and video are violently out of sync. Tried output to MP4. It seems the video is converting at a much slower rate than the audio resulting in the non-sync. The audio finishes 8-10 seconds before the video on a one-and-a-half minute clip. What am I doing wrong? I used to convert video with a free web-based application called Acethinker Video Converter, never had that problem.

I played with the settings further and disabled both the completion and error sounds. This stopped the error dialog/crash. Clicking on the "Output Folder" button in the main toolbar will cause the same error screen but will not crash the app.

la ventana de error dice:
El programa FFsetup240.exe ha encontrado un serio problema y necesita cerrarse.

Esto puede ser causado por un problema en el programa o a una deficiencia en Wine. Quizá quieras verificar en appdb.wine.org consejos sobre como ejecutar esta aplicación.
