As far I can see, all the ~ 40 conversion tests I have done gave (very) good results for all three types: Video, Music and Photo files. I am getting under Ubuntu 9.04 / Wine 1.0.1. the same results than under Windows XP SP3! This is really great. ! Viva Wine !
I have conducted my test with a notebook: HP pavilion zt3330EA, CPU Pentium M @ 1.5 GHz, RAM 2 GB, ATI Radeon Mobility 9200 series, 16 x 10 display 1280 x 800.
What does not
The real and only one issue I add with FormatFactory v.2.10 under Ubuntu / Wine is with the GUI. I mean not all elements appear on my laptop screen (weakest PC at home) which is 5 years old.
I think there is a compatibility issue between in fact my graphic card ATI Radeon Mobility 9200 / its Linux driver and Wine 1.0.1. But with some habit after playing with FF, you can use the GUI of FF without too much problem.
What was not tested
Not all format conversions!
Could have been Gold, but as I said the GUI of FormatFactory under Wine 1.0.1 is not enough good yet! Purhaps with Wine 1.1.30 and/or a better graphic card the GUI will be better... FormatFactory under Wine/Ubuntu is a good alternative to WinFF!

If you want to make this program run better, please leave your Wine(if it`s not listed in "Tested release" column) and FormatFactory version in extra comments.
Also it would be useful if you write about you hardware: CPU/RAM/GFX. If you have got a laptop, also note its model.
