What works
Installation mostly succeeds. Applications seeming load, but freeze.Â
What does not
FlexLM cannot be installed because of this error:
ntoskrnl.exe.IoQueryDeviceDescription
 I got around this by downloading a linux version of FlexLM from another vendor. Trouble is that you also need the vendor deamon. In this case cdslmd. I got this file from my windows installation and made a bash script to trick FlexLM into loading it with wine. The FlexLM log seems to suggest that this worked.
 When running the applications, they no longer complain about a valid license, but they just kind of hang at the point where it should ask which license to use.
 Most give the error:
 fixme:advapi:LookupAccountNameW L"" L"root" 0x154ae8 0x19ae728 0x154b88 0x19ae734 0x19ae724 - stub
and layout says:
err:ole:dispatch_rpc no apartment found for ipid {ffffffff-ffff-ffff-6c00-000059000000}

But pspice fails, giving me an installation error at "New Simulation": I can give a Profile name, but it also requires an Inherit from an existing profile. If I put "non", a pop-up tells me about some incomplete installation; and asks me to run some binaries against the regserver: PSpiceExplorerSrvr.exe, pspice.exe, SimSrvr.exe, simmgr.exe and mrksrvr.exe.
I did all, but no change.
Before I file a bug: how can I uninstall and reinstall?
