1) Installer crashes at the end and causes "Game not installed" message when running the game.
Some people reported that the installer crashed/hang at the end of the installation and the game cannot start, it might be because the installer failed to add the registry entries.
Add it manually with regedit

run the game as win98 application (can be set in winecfg)

No known fix (If you have commentator, sound effects, menu music working please share with us :)
4) Game fails to start with error message "Unimplemented function d3dx9_36.dll.D3DXGetShaderConstantTable"Install d3dx9 using winetricks.
