"Component data" dialogue - automatically appears after placing a component. Under windows the "General" tab is automatically selected. In WINE however, none of the tabs are selected which results in no component being placed after pressing "OK". To place a component, simply click one of the tabs first, and then press "OK". After this has been done for the first component, the dialogue functions perfectly for placing other components.

Component Database - Requires installation of MDAC: see comments. Accessing a database results in a username and password being requested. Entering anything results in: "Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed"

To use the database you require Microsoft Database Access Components, download and install from http://www.microsoft.com/downloadS/details.aspx?FamilyID=6c050fe3-c795-4b7d-b037-185d0506396c&displaylang=en
