The installation worked smoothly but took a while but I guess it's normal.
The game itself runs very well if you emulatÂe it in a virtual deskÂtop, if yoÂu don't emulate it in a virtual desktop it gets buggy and impossible to play (at least on my PC).
The database editor wasn't working, so I created a shortcut on the Wine menu to start the application from there, it takes a while but eventually the editor opens up, I also only got the editor working by emulating a virtual desktop.
When I installed the game it didn't created any shortcuts on the menu, I advice to create because its easier to access the game.
Command to open the game to add to the menu:
env WINEPREFIX="$HOME/.wine" wine "C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010\fm.exe"
env WINEPREFIX="$HOME/.wine" wine "C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010\tools\editor\editor.exe"
What does not
The resource archive manager doesn't work for some reason, maybe someone could get it to work but I couldn't.
What was not tested
I'm a pretty new user of Ubuntu, so I hope my information on this topic was useful.
