What does not

as mentioned the game works, i.e. i hear sounds and see the display text (ammo, compass, in game map etc.) - however the screen stays black and the on-screen text "smears" into the black screen as you move.

applied general regedit tweaks: - DirectDrawRender : opengl - OffscreenRenderingMode : fbo - PixelShaderMode : enabled - RenderTargetLockMode : auto - UseGLSL : readtex - VideoPciDeviceID : 0x9583 //(Radeon) - VideoPciVendorID : 0x1002 //(ATI) are there any Direct3D pros amongst you that could help fixing the rendering? or what am i doing wrong...?

How To run the game correctly

1. Turn off Compiz Fusion if it's enabled 2. Download winetricks and exec them with command sh into console and install Directx, corefonts,visual basic,codecs and all the requisites what appear in the box. 3. Start Steam and install game 4. Set resolution to: 800*600 or 1024*768 for a correctly work 5. Enjoy
