What works

Installation and online banking with USB stick and password.

What does not

First start up fails with ODBC error. Several steps necessary:

Install winetricks
Install "winetricks jet40 mdac28" or according mdac_typ.exe and Jet40SP8_9xnt.exe
Install VR-Networld from your CD
Copy the Windows backup to C:\users\public\Documents\VR-Networld and C:\\VR-Networld
Export the HKLM Software\ODBC to *.reg file and import in wine
Export the HKCU Software\ODBC to *.reg file and import in wine
Adapt the path entries in the registry
Export HKCU Software\VR-Networld to *.reg file and import in wine
Adapt path "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users" to "C:\users\public"
Mount the USB password stick as new drive

Start VR-Networld !

Kommentar Holger Fischer: Ich weiß, dass es unter Linux üblich ist englische Anleitungen zu veröffentlichen, aber die VR-NetWorld Software ist eine Bankingsoftware für den deutschen Markt und kann auch nur mit deutschen Banken genutzt werden. Daher werden Anwender die Hilfe suchen vermutlich mehrheitlich vorallem Deutsch sprechen. Der beschriebene Weg ist viel zu umständlich und zudem unnötig. Das Mdac Packet 25 aus den Winetricks enthält (im Gegensatz zum mdac28) alle notwendigen Treiber. Wird das Paket installiert, sind die Klimmzüge mit den Regdateien nicht notwendig.
