What works
Installation, Playing, Partial sound, Movies
What does not
Music and sound effects during combat. This also doesn't work in native Windows XP; but it does work if you set compatibility mode to Windows 95 or Windows 98.
In Wine, setting the Windows version to Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows ME, would cause the game to freeze as soon as music is to be played at the main menu after the initial opening video. No fixme's are present in the wine output without debugging options enabled.
In earlier Wine versions, the videos were upside down and the game would crash at random intervals. There were also graphical glitches which appear to be fixed in Wine 1.1.33.
Workarounds
What was not tested
Multiplayer and extended game-play. Could not get Music and combat sounds to work.

Additional Comments
Probably needs some work to get the music and combat sounds working. If that works, i would give it a Gold or even Platinum rating. Requires a CD or it will run in demo mode; i setup the CD as drive D with the patch to the CD extracted files; do not forget to click Advanced button and set the type to CDROM to make this work. Wine 1.1.33 appears to have a bug where selecting Windows 98 as Windows version would delete the drive mappings to both C and D. Registered as Wine Bug 15842.
