What works
Install and start the game. The config tool invalidates the ratof.conf file but it can be edited manually as described in the report by sBlatt.
Also the DirectX 9c installation went fine - but I am not sure if it actually works.
What does not
The game runs extremely slow (> 1 fps) with a ATI Mobility Radeon and the radeon as well as the radeonhd (1.3.0) driver even though 2D as well as 3D acceleration seemed to be avaliable.
