What works

The setup startups correctly and let us to:
* Introduce product key.
* Accept the license.
* Select the individual components to install.
* Begin the installations.

What does not

The setup, as is already known was unable to install Office Software Protection Platform Service which makes crash the installation.

Workarounds

Capture minimal installation from Windows XP x64 (perhaps another version may works) using tools like ThinApp or SysTracer, create a x64 wineprefix and copy all files and registry all keys from capture, then use uninstaller in order to repair the installation.

Setup with included upgrades.

Additional Comments

After repair any program installed was unable to get license. Still occurs problems relatet with rpcss, rpc4crt and osppsvc.exe, even if the setup was now able to finished sussesfully after the 'installation porting'.

Specify exactly which edition of Office 2010 you tested (Standard, Pro, etc.). This is crucial--bugs that affect one edition may not affect others.
Specify exactly what type of Âinstall you tested (Typical, Custom, Minimal, etc.)
Limit your report to the installer only. Reports on the performance of individual apps should be filed under their respective AppDB entries. Problems with running any of the apps should only be mentioned if it is clear that it is due to a problem with the installer.
If you used any overrides during the install, please list them and explain exactly what problem each override was needed to solve.
