What works

installer

What does not

Pretty much everything.  You cannot start the game unless X is in 8 bits per pixel mode, but then it is black and you cannot see anything.  You hear the opening video but can't see it.  More than half the preferences screen cannot be manipulated.  Trying to load a game crashes the program.

Workarounds

What was not tested

Anything past the opening screen (because you can't get past the black screen).

Additional Comments

Runs a bit but cannot be used. No graphics can be seen even with 8 bpp.

HowTo / Notes

HOWTO
This game needs to be run in 256 colour mode on both Windows and Linux. If you configure X to run in 8bpp it will start instead of crashing.
