System Specs: Xeon Quad-Core 2.5 Ghz 10 gb ram Nvidia Quadro FX1700 512 vram Kernel 188.8.131.52-88.fc14 Nvidia Driver kmod 260.19.36-1 Wine: Tried to get it to work with 64bit wine but the game would crash during gameplay at random times but never longer than a couple minutes. Grabbed the game out of the wine directories, deleted the directories with the winetricks delete option and uninstalled 64bit wine. This will build your wine directories. I clicked graphics tab, took off check marks on "allow the window manager" and clicked the "emulate virtual desktop" and set the resolution I prefer. Click the audio tab and a box pops up that tells you nothing is chosen. I have the ALSA box checked and that's it. Hit apply and that's it for the winecfg. The game ran a little choppy so I told wine that my video card has 512 mb of memory. sh winetricks Hit ok, click "Change Settings", click ok, clicked "videomemorysize=512" and hit ok. Game seemed to run very good after that with some occasional chops but nothing too unbearable. Everything else (like the d3d, physx, visual basic runtime and so on) was not added like the suggestions you might have read about and the game runs pretty sweet.
