The installer was really slow, it took like half an hour to complete with cpu at its max; but maybe this is normal, I haven't tried it on windows as I don't have it. What wasn't surely normal is that the installation window didn't update itself during the process, looking like it's not going to work. It actually does, you just have to wait.
