Needed to copy d3dx_36.dll to windows/system32 folder, but it should not be overridden in winecfg. Screen flashes/flickers. Added a string key "DirectDrawRenderer" to HKCU\Wine\Direct3D, set its value to "opengl" to fix it. Set video memory size 512 using HKCU\Wine\Direct3D\VideoMemorySize registry key. Then I could increase the quality setting in 3D match to High.
