B&B COM Test

What works

The application starts. Canceling open a serial Port works. The "About" Box works (Menu: Help->About) Exiting works (Menu: Port->Exit) The Dialog Box to open a Port works (only available Ports are selectable e.g. COM1 as /dev/ttyS0 and COM5 as /dev/ttyUSB0) The application does switch the DTR and RTS output signals (outputs) correctly when using a USB to serial adapter (PL2303 chip). The application does send Data over the TXD output.

What does not

The application hangs after open the serial Port COM1 (points to /dev/ttyS0). The application does not receive any Data from the RXD (serial input pin)

What was not tested

correctness of the input status pins (DSR, CTS, DCD). these ppins were not stimulated.

wine does some console outputs about unimplemented and hacked stubs. I find this program useful to test wine and serial adapters.
