I used a no-CD patch. Use "stnt2cfg.exe" to set the resolution to 1080p. Set hardware renderer to enable shadows. Note that this doesn't change the menu's resolution which is always 800x600. Resolution doesn't change back when the game closes. You have to fix the resolution manually.
