Additional Comments

Used WineSkins (v1.0) to create the wrapper and install the latest v5 MemoryMap software from the website using the WS7Wine1.3.14 engine. I copied the map files from my previous install. Also tried installing the original software and maps from disk and that works too although oddly X11 does the windowing differently; from the disk it had Windows style window decoration but with the latest v5 software it had OS X styling. If you do copy the maps across manually you will need to put the right folder locations in when it asks you to add a map folder location. Make sure you set the field at the bottom of that windows to the same location. Also remember to sign in first in 'license management' (with v5) and then go online to migrate your license across. Then just click 'activate online' when it prompts you. The user data is stored in 'Map Overlays' in OS X in the users 'Documents' directory. I did have an issue the first couple of times it started with the program forgetting where the maps were and printer setting but this resolved itself. It appeared that it simply didn't create the config files in 'Map Overlays' ---- No extra DLLs were needed for the main functionality and it all works perfectly fine except for the 3D world (causes t to freeze), but wasn't sure if it should get platinum Admin note: rating changed to conform to the rating definitions.
