Additional Comments
I installed immediately after installing Visual Studio 6 from a fresh wine directory. I used winetricks mentioned on the VS6 page. I configured with winecfg for win98 for the VS6 install, P4v requires at least Win2K, so I choose that for the P4v install. Command used was wine p4vinst.exe /v" /lvx .\p4vinst.log" I unchecked the Explorer plugin, but left checked the P4v, P4SCC, and P4. My first try at the install failed half way through, and in that case I did not have fonts working in the VS6 SCC plugin portion. Note: This configuration is completely unsupportable by Perforce, you can ask for help, but don't expect much from them. Note2: Perforce has a native linux version as well, which unless you are trying for the VS6 integration is a better choice all around.
