Since these issues are minor and don't interfere with game play, I rate this a platinum. 

Sound fails, but this is NOT a Wine issue, this also occurs on Win XP and higher versions. This game was originally designed for Windows 95 and DOS.

Game will not install from CD, again NOT a Wine issue. Read comments on how to install from CD manually.

To install; 1. Copy all files from CD to HD 2. Edit ALIFE.INI file entries; Resource file = *your path*\ALIFE.000 CD Path = *your path*\ALIFE.000 Save games = *your path*\ALIFE 3. Save and run 'wine alife.exe' * is where you installed the files.
