What works
Everything I have tested appears to work except usb support, and connecting up sensors.
I'm using this to edit and or create logger pro files that I collected data for during a physics class so not all features have been tested.
What I have tested is creating graphs of various kinds, manipulating the graphs using the various options available, analyzing those graphs using various tools in the menus and by clicking on the graphs, manipulating tables and data within those tables etc. Opening and saving files appear to be working (see note about file type associations in the what does not work section).
What does not
Special characters such as Greek characters and symbols appear as they should in places where you would enter them but once you click ok, the symbol or special character doesn't show up where ever it was you intended it to show up at. For example if I label a data column header by clicking on it and enter the special Greek character lambda (as the name of the column to display) then click on ok, no character is shown under wine. However if I save the file and open it in windows lambda does show up as the column name right where I put it.
So in short special characters don't work well under Wine, and usb connections are not detected correctly. Also file type associations don't appear to be working. You can click on a cmbl file but it only opens up a blank logger pro screen and you still have to locate the file and open it from within the program to see and or edit the file.
Workarounds
What was not tested
any type of sensor or sensor configuration or settings that would connect to logger pro.

Additional Comments
If someone has some better testing experience they might be able to bump this up to a gold rating. From what I've seen the issues I'm having might have more to do with configuring wine then the actual software itself.

Lucida Sans Unicode
Font Version Info:
------------------
The version of this font that I tested was v2.00, which was
available for free download from various font websites. The file name of
the font was:
lsansuni.ttf
Licensing Info:
---------------
The latest (not free) version of this font (v5.0) appears to only be
available from Microsoft and that version was not tested. You can also
purchase the official earlier versions of the font from Microsoft so its
unclear if your getting the same font or not from other free online
font resources, but the one I downloaded and tested appears to be
working fine in logger pro so far.
Installing Fonts in Wine:
-------------------------
To manually install this font simply copy or move the tty font file to the following wine directory located in your home folder:
~/.wine/c/windows/Fonts/
in other words:
/home/yourusername/.wine/dosdevices/c:/windows/Fonts
