AaAaAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity

What works

The games installs properly through Steam.

 It runs most of the time when launched from the command line.

The game itself seem to work fine (tutorials + first levels).

What does not

The game crashes at the start when run through Steam, and also sometimes when run from the command line (there is a generic Access Violation error in the game logs)

Also, most of the menu entries (the small textured squares/cubes) are either blurry or invisible, making it  very difficult to navigate through the levels.
