Autodesk Maya

What works

Maya is too extensive to test every aspect, but I can confirm that these functions should work; Polygonal modeling, UV Mapping (up to five UV maps), Preview rendering with Mental Ray, Batch baking light and color to texture, Japanese Language UI.

What does not

Sub-menus tend to get stuck on screen, and needs a complete shutdown of Maya to make them disappear. Activation of Maya doesn't function, due to mshtml bugs (the register page is blank).

Maya is WAY too extensive, and therefor a lot of features was not tested.

Additional Comments

If you require a working version beyond 30 days, I recommend using the native Linux client. If you plan to use Japanese as main language, please copy the font "msgothic.ttc" from a windows install, to your Wine font folder.
