This is the boxed retail version of the game. An auto-updater is available, but the update servers are no longer online.
Installation and Game in Softwaremode
What does not
3DSetup, so I couldn't set hardware graphic driver, and mouse input.
What was not tested
Normally on my Sempron 2600 game runs so slowly, but I've fix that by running game by "nice -n 19 wine nfs3.exe". After that game works quick enough to play, but intros and sounds was playing so fast.
