What works

So far, everything I've tested is working.

Colors
Scripting
MXP (including variables, menus, etc)
MCCP
Status Bars
Spellcheck (was an issue on previous wine versions)
..
and MAPPER!
(Including creating rooms, removing rooms, autowalking, scrolling , etc)

I also want to mention that autowalking through map clicking is slow, however, it was also very slow on Windows. Its one of the 'bugs' that come along with the new version of the mapper, and is a known issue of CMud itself.

I installed via the normal installer, registered it (I own it), created the MUD entry, then copied my MUD's packages from my Windows partition and set them up in Linux. My map database is over 40,000 rooms, spread across MANY zones.

I would rate it Platinum, except it requires a few 'winetricks'. Since it doesn't work 100% out of the box, and needs a little set up, by the definitions, it is only Gold.

What does not

Though its working, there is a single caveat. Its got a bit of input lag. While typing, there is a 200-500ms delay from what was typed to when it appears.

This may be due in part to running the open ATi drivers, since there isn't a working proprietary driver for Fedora 12 at time of this writing.

Workarounds

What was not tested

None of my scripts use the various language plugins. They are all set up using the standard utilities, though my status bars and on screen buttons are fairly advanced.

Audio was not tested. I haven't set up wine audio at all, since I use wine only for a few applications that don't need sound. I use Pulseaudio, so my configuration isn't an out-of-the-box with wine.

Additional Comments

Using winetricks, install corefonts, tahoma, fontfix, jet40, fake ie6, mfc42, msxml6, mdac 2.8, vcrun2005, and I strongly suggest the correct font smoother.
