What works

Everything, basically:

  • Installing the software
  • Autoupdate of the software
  • Authentication into account, including autologin
  • Game installation
  • Game patching
  • Game launching
  • Friends window and Friends Network
  • Preferences window

What does not

  • Labels in tabs (after logging in) seem incorrectly rendered, but it's a minor thing.
  • VoiceChat does not detect input and output devices
  • Save password option plus autologin does not seem to work (it never actually logs in, it keeps retrying for longer than my patience allowed)

Workarounds

What was not tested

Launched the autoupdate for the Star Wars Galaxies game. No other game was tested.

I did not attempt to make VoiceChat work beyond a first try as I do not use it.

Installation Prerequisites
At this time, vcrun2005sp1 is required to run Station Launcher. Please install it using winetricks. Please keep in mind that SOE no longer supports this application
