Everything seems to be working.
What does not
Nothing that I have detected. Requires a native dll to work.
What was not tested
Not all functions were tested, but most were.
As mentioned in the website, you are required to make a copy of mfc40.dll (which is provided with the app) into your ".wine/drive_c/windows/system32". DNAsp* used to require "dcom98" via winetricks to perform a "Tajima's test". It is no longer required.

Install DnaSP using "msiexec /i dnasp51001.msi", or even better "wine start /Unix dnasp51001.msi"
Run the program using "wine start /Unix /path/to/dnasp.exe"
If for some reason you cannot, or don't want to use "wine start" here is what you should do to run DnaSP:
After installation, copy the file "mfc40.dll" from the program
directory to your wine's system32 directory using the following command:
"cp ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/Dnasp\ v5/mfc40.dll ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32". Adjust the path according to your own system.
After this step DnaSP will always run, no matter how you call it.
