The current F2P (Holodeck) version of Star Trek Online.
Everything so far. Have run simple and graphically heavy ground and space environments. Framerate was excellent in all but extremely populated battles (e.g. a tad taxed in Crystalline Catastrophe when right on top of the crystalline entity). Also successfully updated and running latest version.
What does not
Haven't run into any major problems yet, been running for over a week. Very occasionally, and only if internet connection is disrupted by a redirect, game will lock upon re-login and require root shutdown/restart. Otherwise runs without a hitch.
What was not tested
Haven't tested every environment within the game, but installs and runs very well. Have not attempted to purchase zen in-game.
I'm still a novice at wine setups, but thought I'd share a success story. Runs both on 1.6.2 and on an older wine version, 1.7.31, simulating windows 7. Added d3dx11.dll library to virtual drive through the Playonlinux setup process, and actually runs quite good, looks excellent in fact. (Running geforce 750ti superclocked with latest nvidia352 drivers.) Will not run dx9 with current drivers. Of course, running stand-alone installer, not through steam or arc. If walking forward causes your character to roll you will need to enable a work around in the console before playing the game and once finished disable the work around. This is a bug in X that has been fixed so newer distributions will not have this issue.

ÂIn general you will want to play STO using the low graphics option in the profile selector that comes up when the game loads. If you have very recent hardware you will be able to play using the higher graphics option.
Any other bugs you find should be reported!
