What works

Installation of the game works just fine.

What does not

The game can't be started, giving a "please insert CD-ROM error".  The game generates an error trace which indicates it cannot find a volume labeled Stratego, but setting the volume label to Stratego in Wine doesn't seem to help for either the physical CD drive or a directory folder containing the CD files.  I experimented with use of different folder names and use of upper- verses lower-case letters, but nothing had an effect.

This game would probably work if the volume label issue could be overcome.
