CamQuest 6 suggest the top camshafts for your application, including the spec card and projected horsepower and torque curves. Not only is good for finding the camshaft that you need, but it also can double as a virtual engine dyno.
CamQuest 6 will tell you whether you need a solid, flat-tappet, hydraulic, or roller-cam for your specific need. It is also compatible with carbureted, EFI, super or turbocharged, and even nitrous-equipped engines.
All drop downs and datafields.
HP/Torque curves generate fine.
What does not
The camshaft recommendation listing only shows the first two with an option to scroll. If you try to scroll that box, the program gets into an endless loop. So at most you can view the top two recommendations.
Also, you must either select something in a datafield dropdown or press enter after manually entering any engine data for the main window of the program to scroll.
"***" (w/o quotes) will skip that field, so if you click in a field and decide you have nothing to enter there, just type "***"
The updater does not work. It reports the XML file as corrupt.
It only runs the first time after installation. If you try to start it after that, you receive an "Assertion Failure" error.
