What does not
What was not tested
Higher level portions of the game.
After upgrading to 10.04 from 9.10, Global Agenda magically worked. Instructions for my install: *Install dependencies: wget http://www.kegel.com/wine/winetricks chmod 755 ./winetricks ./winetricks vcrun2005 physx mono24 xact d3dx10 *Use winecfg->sound to deactivate ALSA, activate OSS *Download and install steam *Use steam to download and install the Global Agenda demo (do not run the game) *Add registry keys telling GA the dependencies were installed: regedit '/home/your-user/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/global agenda live/PreReqs/prereqs_on.reg' This configuration let me play to a basic degree (OSS being an important fix that prevented a crash for me). Turning DDR to anything other than FBO gave me black particle effects. I do not like playing with the mouse fix because this game requires many dialog interactions.
