The game installs and runs, just not playable.
What does not
Virtual screen resizes itself down into a 640x720 screen. This did work in 0.9.9 however, anything after does the same thing

Anything after 0.9.9 does not run on Ubuntu 5.10. The virual screen seems to like to resize itself back into a smaller screen.
