What works

The installation works fine after I *renamed* the "user.exe" to, for example, "setup.exe". Otherwise, wine will segfaults.

What does not

  • Wine does not install applications that has a name "user.exe". It segfaults.
  • When I try to login I received the application message: Invalid access to your home path 'c:\Arquivos de programas\AR System\HOME'. Please verify your home path location and security permissions.

Workarounds

What was not tested

I could not test the login process. I have already seem other type of problems in the past. Sometihing like "invalid session identifier ... supplied control record"

Additional Comments

Wine is segfaulting with the application whose name is "user.exe". As Remedy supplies some versions with only one executable whose name is "user.exe", wine is not able to install. So I *renamed* it to, for example, "setup.exe" and wine installs fine the AR User Client. It runs but gives an error when I try to login ... (Version 5.01)
