The game runs very well even with maxed out settings at 1920x1200 (minus the aforementioned Motion Blur and Dynamic Shadows) everywhere I've played so far except at The Citadel. The game crashes somewhat often in The Citadel and in a couple of spots in particular it crashes EXTREMELY often. Anywhere else it seems the game runs pretty smooth. It still may crash occasionally but crashes outside The Citadel are few and far between. With the mouse patch applied and using native dinput8 the mouse works to some degree. It's far from perfect, sometimes it responds quite well, other times seems to lag or get stuck briefly, but at least it's playable. Without the patch the mouse problems make the game virtually unplayable. AMD Phenom II 940, nVidia GTX260, 8 gigs mem, kernel-184.108.40.206, x86_64

Be aware, that aforementioned stand-alone config utility in version 1.0 (unpatched) of Mass Effect has many issues under Windows as well, ofted resulting in its hang.
This problem occurs mainly (but not exclusively) on quad-processor machines.
Patched version should have this problems fixed (supposedly).
Get audio to work
Edit "Documents/BioWare/Mass Effect/Config/BIOEngine.ini"
Add the following under the "[ISACTAudio.ISACTAudioDevice]" section:
Ensure "Hardware Audio" is turned off in Sound settings in game
To get the MEUITM installer to work
A custom MassEffectModder.exe must be suppliedThis is seemingly due to it using functions not fully implemented in wine/mono

Occasional "rendering exception" error while playing MEIUTM requires your game's binary be large address aware.
