Syberia

What works

• GOG installer
• Playing through the whole game (unless I missed something)

What does not

• Intro FMV and menu screen (possibly other things too) are completely black.
  • Can be worked around by using a Wine virtual desktop, starting Syberia, starting taskmgr.exe in a different terminal, then switching back to Syberia from the task manager.
• Crashes and severe graphical glitches, seemingly at random after sevaral hours of gameplay. Did not reoccur after restarting Syberia and loading a save.
• Toggling Anti-Aliasing seems not to do anything.

Additional Comments

I found it most pleasant to play in a dedicated X server running at 800x600 size, setting the virtual desktop window decorations to "borderless" in the window manager.
