Love

What works

Everything works fine once you either pick esound sound backend or patch wine. The game also needs to be started from the directory it's installed in. Other users were recommending using the esound backend, otherwise the application would close right after starting. I confirmed this and spent some time investigating, and eventually got things working with the Alsa backend after some patching:

What does not

Sound setup is a problem, and if you don't do it the app won't start.

If you just want to verify that Love will run on your machine, you can download and run the client at the main menu without buying an account first.
