Darkfall is a next generation Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) Darkfall was inspired by the pioneers of online role-playing games, such as Ultima Online, Everquest and Asheron's Call. It has first person 3d graphics and plays like an fps with strategy elements, PvP full loot, as well as PvE questing. Darkfall has most of the features one would associate with fantasy based MMORPGs, but also contains elements found in real-time strategy and action games. In Darkfall its the players and their actions that shape the world. We provide you with the platform and the tools to engage in grand activities such as kingdom building, politics, strategy, diplomacy, combat, warfare, conquest, and racial wars. We also offer you the freedom and the option to not get involved in any of that if you don't want to, and to follow a path of your own.

Mouse escapes the screen. Installation through the normal installer, just download the lobby (the thing that is only 12 MB or so) and then let it download all of the files for you.

Additional Comments

The game currently runs very well at a playable FPS (I get 100-120 in windows, 60-80 in Wine). The only glaring problem is that the mouse will escape the window, even if it's in fullscreen mode. The best "workaround" to this currently is to set your X and Y mouse sensitivity all the way up. Doing the above, the game works well for Crafting/gathering and PvE. I haven't tested any PvP, but I doubt you'd really want to get in a large fight with your mouse constantly escaping the window.
