What works

-Installing

-Start video (Until you press a key)

-Menu

-Some of the game? (Garbled screen)

What does not

-The game. I was able to enter the game only once. I had to do alt+tab to enter the menu, after the intro video all I got was a music playing and a black screen!

-Choose hi res, mouse was slow. When entered the game the screen was all garbled, like vertical roller-blind. To see the correct screen I had to alt-tab alot.

When I chose exit, X crashed, I could only see a black screen with out of range message blinking on my HDTV. No key worked, no reset possible (Kernel panic?)

Additional Comments

I think I should rate as Garbage, but it sorta works, just needs polishing.

HowTo / Notes

Mouse centres all the time
It seems like the mouse-centre issue only affects the game if you're playing in Hi-Res mode. With a little patience (no, not patients), while in the game, you can set the option in the Display menu to enable "MCGA Lo-Res". It's ugly, but it works.
