The entire game from beginning to end can be played if the activation process is run from the terminal. It is not smooth - it runs considerably slower then Shadow Wars, even on a system that significantly surpasses the system requirements.
What does not
There is no keyboard input in full screen mode, regardless of command line settings. A standard install of the game will not work; you must patch the executable with one that bypasses the copy protection.
The activation client doesn't work unless you do so from the terminal/command line.
What was not tested
I have not yet tested multi-player, but my guess is that it would work considering the performance of the rest of the game.
