Seedmaster was a great Bible study program in the Windows 3.1 days. The free/shareware program was abandoned by the company in favor of a more commercial version. Version 3.1a, the last shareware version.
Program launches, runs IF launched with a reduced environment. Tooltips work. Launch with something like: env -i PATH=$PATH DISPLAY=$DISPLAY XAUTHORITY=$XAUTHORITY wine c:\\SM\\smw.exe
What does not
Does not install for me, (DOS LHA hangs) but the installer is a very simplistic DOS/Win3.1 program. Either copy the install from a working windows box, or use lha to extract the contents of FILESW.LZH into your destination directory. May have some font issues. Will NOT run in a modern Unix/Linux environment without using "env -i ..."
What was not tested
Only runs if you reduce the Unix environment prior to launching. This is probably NOT a wine bug, but rather a bug in Seedmaster itself.
