The IPSec module works, in that you can check or uncheck it and it remembers the current state it was left in.
I used the winetricks to get to this point to install the mfc42.dll errors. I'm testing with a vanilla Ubuntu 10.04 AMD 64-bit install, and installed wine via it's built in installer.
What does not
The main application DX8000C.exe doesn't get past its initialization.
What was not tested
Once the application loads there should be then a connection window to find the device via IP, then go from there viewing the cameras.
We use this application at our guard station, and having a full blown Windows machine just to run this is a waste of licenses, let alone the headache they cause with infecting this machine over and over.
