Adobe Application Manager is needed to resolve this problem. Howewer, it is missing or damaged. Download a new copy of AAM from http://www.adobe.com or install this product again. but in adobe site there are no installer. i have googled and found this link, http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/843/cpsid_84344.html Regards

Alternate Installer (MSI)

Working installer for entire CS5 or individual products may be created by using AppDeploy Repackager on a supported platform. Resulting MSI package installs (silently) and works almost perfectly.

I haven't gotten the installer to actually *install*, just pop up after it "initializes".

Needs a wine from git with b8965ee7c90a687af4c84ad0ede73b1df901e16c reverted and patch applied.

Install msxml3 and msxml6 through winetricks and run Setup.exe.

From what I've found, after doing this, the installer will pop up, you can go through the steps, but in the installing step, it will fail.

If you look at the log in Common Files\Adobe\OOBE, it will say "User cancelled" and the payload of presumably the first installation unit (an MSVC runtime).
