What works
The installer runs out-of-the-box. After launching the game in wine virtual desktop, disabling fullscreen mode solves that problem and you can disable emulating Windows desktop.
What does not
The game itself does not run when using nvidia proprietary drivers without enabling a virtual Windows desktop.
