Installation works, but with issues, the final msi setup will crash at the end, and will will not install in a selected directory but defaults to the c:/Programs..., the installation is complete though and fully playabe and can be moved elsewere after installation. Playing works, but with the usual Ogl restriction. Configuration works but needs MS original dlls. Sounds works, but exibit stuttering.
What does not
The config utility, needs MS propieatry DLL's to work. Installation crashes at end when finalizing installation. But has no real impact on installation. Sound does not work flawlessly. D3d Mode does not work, texts are garbled, and some graphics are garbled / missing. Full screen has issues, to get the game to go fullscreen the initial window has to maximized, then on the login screen the correct resoloution has to be selected, it will then correctly go fullscreen, this has to be done each time the game is started.
What was not tested
The game will even run under the Beryl manager.

In Section "Device" of your xorg.conf file you should check that Option "DynamicTwinView" "true" is set. In section screen you should set your resolution and RefreshRate by just adding the line Option "MetaModes" "1280x1024_75 +0+0; 1280x1024 +0+0" (modify to your needs - this line is for a 17" flat panel).
You'll notice that every app that uses xrandr extension to read and set resolution will have the values all messed up, but that's a known issue and it still works well. Set Ryzom to use the new RefreshRate by selecting it in ryzom_configuration_rd.exe.
