Running multi theft auto using standard wine (1.2.1) in ubuntu 10.10
What does not
I could not get it working in ubuntu 64 bit, I get a visual studio 2008 redistributable error.
What was not tested
Grand theft auto san andreas does not need to get installed inside ubuntu, but perhaps multi theft auto does since that is what i did. Installing multi theft auto inside ubuntu (with wine) will give you visual studio 2008 redistributable at the same time. Also you might have to put the tahoma, tahomabd and verdana fonts in the windows/fonts folder on the wine c: drive. Another thing is that you might have to erase the 'GTA San Andreas User Files' folder from your ubuntu home folder.
